County Wicklow is situated on the eastcoast of Ireland, belongs to the province of Leinster, covers an area of 2,024 km² and its capital is Wicklow Town. Avoca, pictured above is famous as the fictional village of Ballykissangel, in the BBC drama of the same name. It is the home of Avoca Handweavers, Ireland's oldest business established in 1723. The business now has other outlets thoughout Ireland but still produces its woven rugs and fabrics as well as its own range of clothing.
